Purpose: The OEM Compliance & Digital Marketing Data Specialist ensures adherence to Automotive Manufacturers (OEMs) guidelines while also overseeing digital marketing data management and reporting for DEP's clients. This role prioritizes OEM compliance but leverages digital marketing insights to refine and support OEM programs.
This is an in-person position with the possibility of an opportunity for a hybrid schedule in the future.

Key Accountabilities:

1. OEM Compliance (70%)

  • Review DEP client websites and digital assets to ensure they are in line with the latest OEM standards.
  • Address and assign compliance discrepancies for swift resolution.
  • Respond to inquiries from dealerships or departments about compliance-related matters.
  • Keep abreast with the evolving OEM guidelines and communicate updates with relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure all departments stay informed of compliance requirements.

2. Digital Marketing Data Management (20%)

  • Oversee and interpret digital marketing accounts data across channels like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, TikTok, and Amazon.
  • Schedule and conduct monthly data reporting sessions to OEM partners, focusing on insights related to their respective programs.
  • Offer insights on digital marketing data within the context of OEM guidelines and programs.

3. Administrative & Client Relationship (10%)

  • Update proprietary software, as well as the company CRM, with client communications, account notes, and compliance adjustments.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly departmental meetings, bringing a compliance-first perspective.
  • Engage in ongoing educational opportunities, especially related to OEM guidelines and digital marketing data insights.

Level 2 Requirements:

  • Mastery over OEM guidelines with the ability to guide internal teams effectively.
  • Consistent and insightful digital marketing data management.
  • Active participation in team discussions, especially regarding compliance.

Key Factors:

  • Manages: Assigned portfolio, with potential support from the broader department.
  • Impact: High - central to client compliance with OEM guidelines and insightful use of digital marketing data.
  • Internal Business Communication: Regular dialogue with the Director of OEM Programs and internal team members. 
  • External Communication: Engage with Account Executives and Digital Marketing Strategists, focusing on compliance and data insights.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with OEM guidelines or a quick adaptation to them.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Robust relationship management skills, both remotely and in person.
  • Google services expertise, especially Google Analytics. Google certifications are an advantage.

Note: This role emphasizes OEM compliance and integrates digital marketing data management to ensure that DEP's clients adhere to brand standards while making informed decisions based on their digital marketing performance. Successful candidates will be compliance-driven with a knack for data interpretation.
