Summary
The Technology Operations Coordinator is the operational backbone of the technology organization, responsible for driving health, transparency, and execution discipline. This non-technical role ensures that cross-functional workflows move smoothly from intake through delivery by owning the systems and processes that enable predictable output. Partnering closely with the CTO and Product Managers, the Coordinator provides critical visibility into project health and risks while managing the day-to-day operational performance of the development team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
- Workflow & Reporting: Own the administration of operational tooling (Jira), build performance dashboards, and develop standardized policies to optimize efficiency and reduce overhead.
- Project Oversight: Monitor initiative progress, manage cross-functional dependencies, and participate in team ceremonies to ensure consistent delivery quality and risk mitigation.
- Performance Management: Conduct quarterly reviews for developers, set individual performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback to maintain execution standards within the development unit.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technology progress and trade-offs into clear updates for business leads, ensuring organizational priorities align with technical execution.
Requirements & Key Factors
- 2-3 years of experience working with tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
- Operational Expertise: Proficiency in Jira administration and workflow optimization; ability to identify and measure consistent units of work.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Non-Technical Focus: No software development background required, but must develop deep knowledge of technical operational rhythms and delivery lifecycles.
- Independence: High degree of autonomy in execution and planning, with an impact directly tied to organizational predictability and scalability.
